Whale Watching & dolphins

The Whale Coast Route starts in Gordon’s Bay and ends in Gansbaai. Pringle Bay is part of this scenic route. Southern Right whales visit our shores each year from June to November to calf and mate, before departing again for their feeding grounds in the lower reaches of the Antarctic.

Powder white beaches

The Western Cape has a reputation of offering some of the world’s finest beaches. Powder white sand, azure ocean, African sky, imposing mountains, and this all bound intrinsically together …in the Overberg region of the Western Cape.

Nature

Discover the Kogelberg Biosphere (UNESCO World Heritage Site) a hiker, mountain biker and casual walker’s delight; trails, sandy beaches, rocky shorelines, rivers and forests. Track down the wild horses of the Rooisand Estuary, visit the penguins at Stony Point or explore nature’s true fynbos wonderland at the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens.

Overberg Wine Routes

Taste, savour and enjoy the wines of the Hemel en Aarde, Elgin & Botriver wine valleys. All under an hour’s drive from Pringle Bay these relatively young and up and coming wine routes offer warm country hospitality; delectable wine tastings and scrumptious lunch menus. A must for a day-trip.

Calypso room offers private spacious ground floor accommodation. The room is 40 m² in size. Your total private space is 65m²  including patio. Room 2 – Ophelia

Ophelia offers you 45 m² of  private spacious accommodation on the ground floor. Your private living space is 67m² including your patio. Room 3 – Pandora

Pandora is on the first floor and offers light and romantic accommodation. This spacious room measures 45 m². Apart from that you’ll enjoy sweeping views of  the sea, beach and mountains. You can watch the waves breaking on the beach, along with sunrise over the mountains from your bed. Moonstruck on Pringle Bay is a contemporary beach house retreat overlooking Pringle Bay main beach, a 90 minutes drive from Cape Town on the Cape Whale Coast Route. Moonstruck offers private luxury accommodation with beach and mountain views. The beach is a 3 minutes stroll accessed via a greenbelt in front of the property. Operating on a bed and breakfast (B&B) basis with good restaurants within easy strolling distance.
